We suggest you try climbing TAGAMANENT a mountain which forms part of one of the prettiest and representative zones of Montseny called “LA CALMA” It is visible from our house. You can reach it on foot ( experienced excursionists) or by car (if with children) On top you can visit the remnants of an old castle, an ethnological Museum in “CA L’AGUSTI” have a picnic or enjoy a delicious , inexpensive meal in the rustic BELLVER Restaurant

Directions to site:

Take the C-17 north, until, the turn-off on the right for Tagamanent enter the Roundabout, where you’ll see the sign “LA CALMA PARC ETNOLÒGIC”.

Be attentive as you will pass under C-17, keep right, turn toward the Leiro factory, and once on the other side, go slowly about 400 meters til you spot a green mountain sign which reads “La Calma” drive up this narrow miss it. You can return back to C-17 via the other downhill route thru “Collformic” ENJOY YOUR EXCURSION!
